Frustrated

Grrrr...I am sure having pblms loading pictures here!!! Every time I try to do so, it comes back with an error message that the engineers are working on the problem...come on.

Let's see - the last date was 5/10/2006. That means I need to catch up on about two weeks - ok.

I did go to Make & Take Thursday the 11th and to dinner with my parents at P.F. Chang's for Mother's Day...then to Darlene H's home for a Stampin' UP! catalog party.

I then had two meetings on the 13th and ... humm...what happened that night? Oh yeah, out to dinner... am I right???

Friday night, Friday night... I know we were in a hurry to make it ...

OH YES!!! Chrys' Stampin UP! Open House!!! Duhie!!!

Sunday, we took it rather easy - Reb went to her parents' home for Mother's Day...and I stayed home. That night, Reb, Chrys, Rob and I went to the Olive Garden for Mother's Day and to Starbucks for coffee and dessert.

All week, we worked and worked...no fun! I caught up with the videotapes on Tuesday and Wednesday because I had a bad headache, stayed home. Thursday and Friday I went back to work and caught up on paperwork.

Saturday, Reb mowed the lawn and I ironed the shirts and did general chores around the house. That night, we went to the St. Louis Bell Club Cinco de Mayo party and chatted with friends - I won two raffle prizes, a candle dish and a salsa dish - gave the salsa dish to a friend and kept the candle dish. Reb won a stamp set - of course, I promptly took that for myself...heh heh.

Sunday the 21st, we went to the softball league game - Reb played the first game, but we lost both games. Par for the course, I guess. Then we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for the ASL Dinner and to Baskin-Robbins for dessert. Got home in good time, to watch FINDING NEMO and have our ice cream.

Now its the 2nd day of the week...Im bored. I want to go home and play with my cards.

Catching Up Again!

Let's see... where did I leave off again?

April 29th - not too bad.

Ok... last week was pure HELL. I had to catch up on one month's worth of time reports, and also several swaps that were put off until all the April events were over. Worked several hours OT, also. At least I caught up with all of them both the time reports AND the swaps.

Also, last Thursday, I got to go to my upline's Make 'n Take - learn something new, and then on Friday, I went to LINC in Belleville, IL. My first time there, yes, and I got lost going around the block three freakin times.

At least I found it.

Saturday, Reb's parents came over and I vacuumed the whole house, but not the basement yet. Then we had pizza from Imo's - LOVE that pizza!!!!!

Then I went outside and worked in the flower bed...weeded that whole damn bed. I still havent done the other side, but will do sometime soon this month. At least that area looks better, and also trimmed and swept away the dead grass bordering the sidewalk. It looks much neater, too.

Then that evening, Reb and I went shopping for some things we needed - Reb did find one NEAT STAMP that looks so much like Black Bear (Blackie) holding down the tails of four mice...I will have to scan it!!! Yes, I bought it...why not? Its up in a place of honor right now...heh heh.

Oops, I jumped ahead of myself. We went to Hobby Lobby - I wanted to get some YES paste - I tried it at both Carole and Vickie's Make 'n Takes and I liked it, so wanted to have some for home. They didn't have it, though, but thats where we got the stamp. Then on to Michael's, and YES!!! They had it, so I got it... good! On to dinner at Outback, and home.

We watched CADDYSHACK, always a funny movie to watch.

Sunday, we went to the softball games - Bell Club lost the first game, 12-4 and then...WON the 2nd game, 14-11!!! YAHOOOOOO!!!

Came home, and I fixed dinner and we took a bath...we had a lot of kinks to work out.

Catch Up Time

Tsk on me again. Time to catch up on the news again.

Let's see, where did I leave off again? Yikes...April 13th!!!

*smh* at myself.

Okey dokey, let's look again.

Monday the 17th I got a NEW SideKickII again... *smh* Hoping it lasts longer this time. Caught up with calendar, events (birthday/anniversaries for May) and contacts.

On Friday, April 21 - I picked Lisa D from her home after I got off work, went home and cooked dinner and went downstairs so I could get some more cards done and let LD catch up on her emails. Then we went to pick up Karole and KM from the train station...came from KC to stay with us for the weekend - it was nice having my good friend and goddaughter back here so soon again!

Saturday...what excitement!!! We went to the DeafNation Expo at the St. Charles Convention Center - met many deaf people there, and some hearies, too... saw a lot of my old friends again...it was great seeing them all! Reb and I bought some stuff, gathered a LOT of free information, freebies and papers! One in particular we're interested is the technology that would allow our bosses to communicate with us during meetings (one on one) - I forget the name of that and I'd have to look at the papers for that name. Will do tomorrow.

We went to eat lunch at Cracker Barrell, Reb and I, Karole and KM, LD, Chrys and Rob, Kiki and her daughter J, and her two friends from KY - Eric (the Green) and his wife.

Back to the Expo we went, to watch the show ... and talk a bit more!

Then on to St. Louis Bell Club and Deaf Karaoke Night...heh heh.

I was the hit doing "Dancing Queen" by ABBA - did such HUGE movements while dancing and signing ... why not? Of course I came in 2nd, as an interpreter was able to follow the words perfectly and scored higher than I did...heh heh. Got a lighthouse flag - it's hanging in the basement now.

Then Sunday - took LD home while Reb went to the softball game - and then to the train station with Karole and KM. Put together a jigsaw puzzle together with them, hugged them good bye and watched the train chug off its way back to KC.

The fun just never ends, does it?

Worked over time - over time.

Saturday, April 29th - we went to a RSD meeting. Talked about the parade coming up in June. Made plans for three car washes. Then on to Blueberry Hill and ASL dinner... I do have one complaint.

I hate it when someone takes advantage and skips off without paying, and then someone has to pay for that person and I do plan to warn the waiter/waitress to make sure that the person does pay at the next ASL dinner.

Then on to Ben & Jerry, Reb, Ky and I did skip to... ice cream!! We just scream for ice cream!!

Sunday - Reb had to work. Ugh. So I picked up around the house, tidied some rooms, and did all the laundry.

Now it's Monday...back to work.
