Dragging feet
Boy - I'm really draggin' today... just the general feeling of being down in the dumps. No, it's not cuz of the holidays - it's just the feeling I've been having lately. Oh well...hopefully 2007 is better.I really need to get off my tushy and get crackin.
I have to get caught up on the cruise payments, the hotel payments, the bills, my diet, etc., etc...and I can't seem to get moving at all.
I know that in a couple days it will go away, but right now...I wish it would go away NOW!!
Also, I popped my ankle at work last Friday and the pain has been driving me up the wall - and the earliest appointment I could get was tomorrow at 11:15 a.m....come on. I'm all so doped up on Darvocet, and I'm forgetting what I've been doing lately.
Tomorrow is a busy day - and so is Saturday. Saturday I gotta go to David's Bridal to order my dress, and drop off Michelle's measurements.
Sunday Jen and I go to the Rams/Redskins game - then we go our own separate ways to our parents home for Xmas dinner...heh heh.
Now - going back a few weekends.
November 30th, we had a terrific ice/snow storm and Jen and I didn't have any electricity from 1030 pm that night til around 530 Friday afternoon. No, we didn't go to work - our cars were frozen solid, so fuggedit. December 2nd - we stayed close to home, and went to a SU class at Darlene's home - Jenifer was there, in her usual apron...heh heh. We also saw Debbie, Cassie (of course, it was her party), Chrys and Rob - not bad.
December 8th - I went to RTR-DCC for a Gourmet to Go and to pick Lisa D up. Got $21.00 worth of goodies, and then on the 9th, we cleaned most of the house, and took Lisa to the Haciendia for dinner. After dinner, we went to Kohl's - I got a GREAT BARGAIN!!! I got a set of suitcases, seven in total, for only &69.98!!! It was on a 50% sale, and I just grabbed it!
Then to Petsmart for kitty litter and food, and back home.
December 10th - to Jenifer's home for Stamp Night, and drop Lisa off home.
December 15th - Lisa got picked up by me again, and I took her home with me - maybe I should say have drug her back home behind me.
Then on December 16th...the HOLIDAY PARTY!!! We had 9 peeps show up - Tom & Larry, William, Chrys and Rob, Jim B, Greg McK, Paul, Rob H, and then there were Reb, Lisa and me already at home ~ what a blast! We all had a good time - although my ankle hurt so much, I couldn't get around as much.
However, there is one thing I wasn't too happy to find out about - someone brought weed and several of the guests smoked it in the backyard. I feel that this showed a total lack of respect and could have brought a bucket of troubles on me and Reb - I do intend to speak up about this at the meeting in January.
Sunday, we just lazed about a bit, then I divided up the food and then we took Lisa back home - then we went back home and took it easy.
Now, it's Thursday - and only about 4 more days to Xmas Day. Urgh.
