Please come to my house and check my printer. Every time I use the printer - and I am away while it prints my papers are wrinkled, even shredded. Sometimes the ink is blurred. I hope that you can find the problem!!
Sincerely, Concerned Computer Owner
Dear Concerned Computer Owner:
While you were gone today, I checked your printer, and I found your problem. Please click on the attachment for the answer.
I'm gonna be late to work ~ I hurt all over. I can't believe it. I wasn't able to get much sleep last night, as I kept trying to get comfortable and not finding much relief.
I'm still glad that I signed up for both classes, and intend to keep going to them. I've progressed to calling Power Pilates BDSM, though.
Got through deep water aerobics ~ got a burn going. However, the instructor wasn't very good and didn't put us through a warm up first. Oh well ~ I know I'm gonna pay for this. Already I can feel my butt muscles hurting... sheesh.
I'll live. Just gonna take a while to stop hurting.
Well, well... today was my first ever Power Pilates class. You should have heard me ~ my bones kept popping throughout the whole session. And I had to modify some exercises as I couldn't do some, and reduce the number to others. I'm sure as time goes by, I'll be able to keep up most of the time. That's my NSV for today!
It was quite a busy week ~ Lisa finally moved in, and we have been cleaning the house.
I was sent home early Thursday because of the sleet, and Monsanto was closed on Friday, also. So I took the opportunity to clean the pink room ~ we finally took the daybed apart. Now it's basically a storage/dressing room at this time.
Yesterday, we had some errands to run ~ we went to Jens' parents home to take care of the mail, and then go to Sam's Club as I needed more cereal and milk. We also checked on the candy assortments for fundraising ~ nice selection.
Then we went to Starbuck's for a while before heading out to Florissant Valley Community College ~ we wanted to catch the play, 'Barefoot in the Park' as our friend, Tammy N. was making her debut in it. It was a wonderful, funny play! Mark E, Lisa G~B, and Eric D were very funny, too.
Back home, we put the food away, and talked for a while. I had a NSV, too! I was able to sit up in bed without any assistance or using my hands to push myself up, and continue sitting upright without any discomfort. I noticed it, and told Jens so. Then it was so nice to be able to give the cats some good night love, and only had a bit of a burn to my lower back muscles.
Right now, I'm in the living room on the loveseat, PeeWee is sitting on my side, and I'm watching the Food Network channel. It's been snowing outside, but it seems to have stopped. GOOD! I want spring to come now, now, now!
I can't wait for tomorrow ~ I will be starting Power Pilates at 6:45 p.m.! I'm ready, so very ready!
I went to the doctor yesterday - my medication has been changed. I am now on another medication for my depression, and it will take about 4 weeks to take effect. I have to take one tablet for 10 days, then go to two tablets every morning afterwards.
Hopefully it will help.
I'm almost done with the book I mentioned in an earlier post, and will go to BLONDES HAVE MORE FELONS by Alesia Holliday. Never have read this author before.
I have also been catching up with magazines - got one big pile down to nothing. Now staring on 2nd big pile. LOL!!
I got my Creative Cling order last week, and soon I'll be back to unmounting my SU stamps - I gave all the wood blocks I had saved up to JB for her father on February 3rd. Now, I can start on another pile for him. Heh.
Champion Winning Colors, winner of the 1988 Kentucky Derby (gr. I), was euthanized Feb. 17 following complications from colic at Hagyard Davidson McGee vet clinic near Lexington. The 23-year-old Caro mare was buried at Greentree Farm, a division of Gainesway Farm near Lexington.
"Winning Colors was always a champion," said Gainesway president Antony Beck. "She had great physical prowess and athleticism. She was one of my fathers' (Graham Beck) favorite horses, and everyone at Gainesway is saddened by her passing."
Trained by D. Wayne Lukas, Winning Colors, who was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2000, was owned by the late Eugene Klein. She was bred in Kentucky by Echo Valley Horse Farm.
Lukas purchased Winning Colors as a yearling for $575,000 at the 1986 Keeneland July sale. She would finish her career with earnings of $1,526,837 and a record of 8-3-1 from 19 starts.
Besides being the last and one of only three fillies to win the Derby, Winning Colors' other grade I victories include the Santa Anita Derby and Santa Anita Oaks. She also finished third in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) and was second to undefeated champion and Hall of Fame member Personal Ensign in the highly memorable 1988 Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I).
Winning Colors hailed from a strong female family. She is out of the stakes-winning and grade I-placed Bold Hour mare All Rainbows, who produced two other stakes-placed runners and is the granddam of Japanese group I winner Tap Dance City.
All Rainbows' dam, the stakes-winning T. V. Lark mare Miss Carmie, also produced champion filly Chris Evert, who in turn is the granddam of champion Chief's Crown and grade I winner Classic Crown.
Other grade/group I winners found in Winning Colors' pedigree include Sightseek, Tatescreek, Etoile Montante, Confessional, Excellent Art, Missed the Storm, Faaz, Lambent Light, and Zaitoon.
Klein sold Winning Colors for $4.1 million to Gainesway Bloodstock Services at the 1989 Keeneland November mixed sale. Alone or in partnership, Gainesway Farm bred all 10 of her foals.
Like many champion racemares, Winning Colors was never able to reproduce herself. Her best offspring to date is Golden Colors, a filly by Mr. Prospector who was group III-placed in Japan. Golden Colors went on to produce Cheerful Smile, a group III winner by Sunday Silence.
Her last foal is a yearling filly by Mr. Greeley. Her juvenile Orientate filly is now in training with Ron Stevens in Aiken, S.C.
Well ~ well. We got to KC just before 10 pm last night at our friends' home. My goddaughter was surprised and excited to see us ~ or was it the bicycle she got for Christmas/birthday that finall arrived on her doorstep?
Talked for a while, and checked out their new digs. Finally got int bed a mite late :).
Today we went to the ASL Expo. It was a bit of a disappointment, as there were not very many exhibts ~ the old standbys were there ~ Sorenson, Sprint, Hamilton VRS, Ubi... while there were some new ones... MO VRS and KS VRS. MoAD and KAD were there, too. I would say about 15 exhibtors were there. JJ Jones and Mark Morales were among the entertainers. We did meet Mark while on the cruise last year ~ he was an deaf interpreter for the deaf-blind.
However, we got to see some friends and we bought some nice stuff ~ better check www.buyasl.com cuz they have...dvds of Dummy Hoy and Through Deaf Eyes! It was also great seeing Yvonne Apple there, too. She always has great stuff for sale ~ we bought a glass ILY with rose ornament. James Nyugen was present, also, with the 3~D crystal blocks. We got Virgo, Cancer and a free Harley Davidson eagle.
Lunch was at Cracker Barrel ~ Jens and my friends said NO to me getting a chocolate fudge Coca Cola cake ~ *sobs.*
We went to a bar/grill for dinner, nice, but full of ciggie smoke. Ugh. We did sneak in at Archivers beforehand, and I got some embellishments, and got to do a free make 'n take... :D
So it was a 75% good day ~ but cold and wet, and my knee is... UGH...achy!
I did have a kind of a joke today ~ said I was 99.9% good, and .1% bad. Heh.
Been eating sour spaghetti gummi candy...yummy. Love that tang of sour sugar.
Anyway, I was thinking... I do know that people take advantage of my good nature and soft heart.
I have people owing me money, owing me things, and not returning "borrowed" things.
My friends have told me I have to become tough - and I do try. Sometimes I'm not even aware that I haven't gotten it back or it was taken - until later on. Then I have a hard time trying to get it or returned back to me.
It does irritate me - believe me.
It also pisses me off when people tell me that they cannot stand people who take advantage of them, yet, they're the ones taking advantage of ME. I know that if it was pointed out to me that I took advantage of people, I would be very much ashamed of myself and apologize to those I've wronged. I just can't bring myself to point THAT out to those people.
I belong to several weight loss groups on Yahoogroups, and there are three I do like. :) Two will have Challenges beginning this Friday. It's where you announce your current weight and set a goal where you lose pounds to meet a certain weight. It did help in the beginning, it's towards the end that I start having problems.
We also announce NSVs ~ non-scale victories. Like, for example, I did announce that I had thrown away a piece of chocolate, and while I wanted to dive-bomb for it in the trash can, I didn't. That's a NSV. I need to announce them more often.
That would be a good goal ~ post a NSV per day here on this blog.
As for The Angel Company, I've become more of a hobbyist ~ it seems to suit me better. I still take orders and will do workshops if asked, but I'm more content this way. My website is www.babycat.ismyangel.net.
I've also signed up with Quixtar ~ I even have a website. It can be found at www.mowoc.qhealthzone.com.
I love their Trim Advantage chocolate shakes! I also cannot wait to try their Simply Nuturite products, too!
Other than work, I have been idle most of the time ~ I just lounge all night until Jens gets home. I need to get off my back and back into doing what I love to do ~ papercrafting. I've been too legarthic and having NO energy.
Just laying in bed waiting for Jens to come home ~ been watching CSI: NY and reading CHILE DEATH by Susan Wittig Albert. PeeWee is snoozing on top of Angel's "room."
I'll be glad when the appointment with the doctor finally takes place ~ this depression is pretty bad. Most days, I don't even want to get out of bed or the bath, I struggle my way to work, and when I get home, I just want to lie in bed. Ugh.
At least I did something for myself ~ I signed up for Power Pilates on Mondays and Wednesdays and then Deep Water Aerobics on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting the last week of February.
I am also a bit worried, since our living arrangements will change in a few days. We have to change some rooms around ~ not an easy thing to do under any circumstances. I will have to watch over Jens for quite a while, too. Make sure she's doing fine, and if it appears that it's affecting her in a negative way, I will have to change them back to what it was before.
This weather is affecting me in a big way ~ I'm stuck on a plateau and my knee has been aching steadily. I want warm weather...NOW. I want the cold air, low tempatures, ice, wind chill factor, everything associated with winter gone, gone, gone now!
Hoo boy. Blackie joined PeeWee on the cage. So far, no problem...
I feel so paralyzed ~ my depression is awful. I am falling behind in so many things and yet I cannot muster enough enthusiam to get anything done. My motivation is at an all-time low.
I know I need to call the doctor and schedule an appointment ~ specify that it is for my depression and that the current medication is not working anymore. I just keep putting it off, though. I will have to muster enough motivation, though, and get it done this time.
I was able to get my weight down that it showed a 8.6 pound loss last Wednesday, and yet, it is slowly creeping back up. That makes me realize that I really need to do something as soon as possible.
Ugh.
Also, I have to get my butt moving now. Time to get going and ready for work.
This is my blog - I can say what I want to say here. If you don't like it, just LEAVE.
